General Practitioner
Billingshurst Surgery are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated team player to come and join our friendly team for two days (four sessions) per week. We are committed to providing our patient population with excellent healthcare. We place high value in our staff and the well-being of staff is important to us.
The post-holder will provide general medical services managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
Billingshurst Surgery is based in a semi-rural West Sussex commuter village and is well respected locally. We are a busy, high achieving dispensing practice with nearly 14,000 patients and offer an organised and supportive work environment.

Paramedic Practitioner
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Paramedic Practitioner to join our friendly GP surgery. Working closely with our experienced Paramedic Practitioner, you will dovetail hours to provide seamless, week‑long visiting cover, ensuring patients receive timely assessment, treatment and support in their own homes. This role is ideal for a confident autonomous clinician who values collaborative working, continuity of care, and making a meaningful difference by helping reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.
We are looking for someone to work 18 hours a week over two days (Wednesdays and Thursdays).
Dispenser
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is active – we regularly climb a small ladder and don’t sit down all shift. You need to have a lot of attention to detail and we need you to be computer literate. Ideally you will have experience of working in a Pharmacy or Dispensary and have a NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services, however this is not essential
We are looking for someone from 15.5-36.5 hours - Applicants must be able to work from 08:00 for morning shifts and until 18:30 for afternoon shifts. You may not be required to work both shift times on the same day, but you must be fully available to cover either an 08:00 start or an 18:30 finish, depending on the rota.
This is a varied and often demanding role; you must be able to provide holiday/sickness cover.
Apprentice
We are currently recruiting for an apprentice to work within a busy surgery environment, learning all aspects of reception and administrative roles.
