Registering for Patient Acess:

Registration for Patient Access is very simple, requiring a letter from the surgery confirming an initial access ID number along with full details on how to register online. You can request this letter in person or by telephone and then collect this from the surgery at your convenience. To go to the Patient Access website click on the 'Log in to Patient Online Services' link below on the left.

Once you have registered you simply log onto your account, at any time of the day or night, where you can view & order your current repeat prescriptions by ticking the item and submitting your request. You can also add a free text message if you want to make an alternative medication request. You will also be able to view & update your personal details (address, telephone numbers & email address) and, in time, be able to book and cancel appointments via this service. The current 72 hour turnaround for collecting prescriptions still applies.

If you do not want to use the online service you will still be able to order repeat prescriptions in person at the surgery or by post using the repeat slip (white right hand side of your prescription). Simply tick the medication required and initial, and then post or hand this in at Reception. You can also order your repeat prescription by handing your repeat slip in at Lloyds Pharmacy or Arun Valley Pharmacy in the village.

If you have any queries regarding the new Patient Access service please contact us on 01403 782931 or via Reception.

Please remember:

  • All repeat prescription requests take 3 working days to process.
  • Whilst we dispense acute medication immediately, any additional repeat medication will still take 3 working days to process.
  • You may have to come in and see the doctor before certain medication is issued, so make sure you order your medication in good time.
  • Online requests are picked up until 1 pm. (Any request made after this time will be actioned the following working day). Please leave THREE WORKING days between ordering repeat medication and its collection.
  • Any medication order placed after 1.00pm will be counted as being ordered on the next working day (Monday - Friday) and will be processed accordingly. Medication ordered via Patient Access after 1.00 pm on Friday will be processed on Monday morning and will therefore be ready for collection on Thursday.
  • We will only issue 1 month's medication at a time. If you have a very special, one off, reason for asking for more than a month's supply please provide details as this will have to be approved by your GP.
  • Repeat prescriptions for HRT or the contraceptive pill will be provided by the nurse after health checks are made. If you run out before you can get an appointment you can order a 1 month emergency supply.
