This website has been developed to enable you to receive the best possible care from the Practice. We have a team of dedicated doctors and other health professionals available for your care. Billingshurst Surgery sets measurable standards that take into account our responsibility for delivering national and local priorities in health care. These standards are reviewed regularly and we monitor our performance against the standards set, by clinical audits.

Medical Services

We offer all core General Medical Services plus the following enhanced medical services:-

  • Childhood immunisations
  • 24hr blood pressure monitoring
  • Influenza vaccination
  • Pneumonia vaccination

Surgery Access for Disabled Patients

The practice is fully accessible for disabled people with suitable toilet facilities. A wheelchair is available and staff are happy to help patients with access. Please advise the receptionist if you will require the wheelchair or help when you book your appointment.

Training Practice

We are a training Practice and frequently have GP Registrars and other qualified trainee Doctors working alongside the permanent Doctors.

Practice History

Billingshurst Surgery has been an established GP Practice since the 1930’s and moved into the current purpose-built surgery in 1990. The building was extended to its current size in 2000. The practice currently provides General Medical services to over 13,000 patients in and around the town of Billingshurst. 

There are currently nine GP partners, an Executive Manager, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 6 nurses, 4 Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomists, a Dispensary Manager plus 4 Dispensers and 20 administration staff who hold various positions within the practice.
